Rigorously document scientific discoveries that resonate with Quranic verses and authentic hadiths, providing for each article: the sacred text concerned (Quran and/or hadith), the modern scientific explanation, and academic references.

The legacy of Maurice Bucaille

Maurice Bucaille (1920-1998) was a French physician who studied the mummy of Pharaoh and became interested in sacred texts. His book "The Bible, the Quran and Science" marked a turning point in the study of the relationship between faith and science, showing the concordances between the Quran and modern scientific discoveries.

Bucaille showed that many Quranic verses, revealed in the 7th century, contain descriptions that could not have been known at the time and that agree with modern scientific discoveries. His "concordist" approach paved the way for numerous studies in embryology, astronomy, geology and medicine. This project extends this approach to the authentic hadiths of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, several of which also contain remarkable scientific indications in light of recent discoveries.

Our approach

Each article on this site follows a rigorous methodology: presenting the sacred text (Quranic verse and/or authentic hadith) in its original Arabic text, explaining the context, then comparing it with modern scientific discoveries, accompanied by verifiable academic references. For hadiths, we specify the narrator, source and degree of authenticity. We strive to present information objectively and in a documented manner.
